Everyone from the New York Times to Elle Décor, YouTube and a host of interior design bloggers is talking about mirrored furniture these days – and so are we! Just recently we selected mirrored nightstands for our clients' master bedroom makeover (above) and they love them. This glamorous throw-back to the 1920s and ‘30s can be stunning in a foyer, living room, dining room, office or bedroom.

Notice the way this simple, sleek foyer table, above, reflects the blue chair and a bit of handsome stairway? That's smart placement! And below, the dark wood of this classic chest tones down the mirrored elements for those who want a light touch of glam.

Mirrored furniture brightens a room by reflecting light and creating sparkle and the occasional rainbow. (Pots of gold not guaranteed!)  We’re seeing mirrored furniture in every style from traditional to modern and even futuristic. I love that Elle Décor calls it “the red lipstick” for interiors. That’s a perfect match for our signature “little black dress of interior design.”™

Choose these pieces carefully, use sparingly and position them so they reflect something beautiful - they will be gorgeous!
