While in flight to LA and back I had some time to read a few fashion magazines. By magazine number four I noted a trend in luxury fashion marketing...

While in flight to LA and back I had some time to read a few fashion magazines. By magazine number four I noted a trend in luxury fashion marketing... Chanel, Louis Vuitton and Dior all have multiple back to back page ads that showcase very different looks for their individual brand. No longer touting a specific look, they are appealing to all ages and styles. Something for everyone but not everything for everyone- allowing the client to select what is best for their own lifestyle. I know my style has evolved as my life has changed and I've aged. These luxury brands are allowing me to define myself by taking what the brand offers but making it uniquely mine. What I wear, how I wear it and what I pair it with is solely up to me. So as I change, the brand changes along with me and is definable only by me. I like that! Define yourself. Define your style. And in my world, define your home.

Oh, a MUST read new magazine... Porter. From the queen of Net-A -Porter, Natalie Massenet, this inaugural issue was one I could not put down. I read it cover to cover - unusual as I am a page flipper! The editorial reminds me of Vanity Fair (LOVE the celebration of incredible women article) and the fashion is phenomenal.
