Looking for expert advice on remodeling your kitchen? Join me from 6 to 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 3rd when I will be part of a panel of experts discussing “Why Kitchens Matter (So Much!)”.

I’m very flattered to be invited to answer questions about kitchen trends and "do's and don'ts" during the first of the 2015 Speaker Series sponsored by the River North Design District, where I am a member.

Chicago Tribune's Cindy Dampier and New York-based writer Barbara Ballinger, author of the recently published, The Kitchen Bible: Designing your Perfect Culinary Space, will tell why homeowners still eagerly remodel this space not just for looks but for better functioning home life, and what you really should know before you do. (We have collaborated with Barbara many times on design articles she has written for a variety of publications!)

Following their talk there will be a kitchen trend Q&A with me and two other Chicago designers, Janet Shiff and Michael Del Piero,and we will finish with a book signing by Barbara.
