Breakfast Room Sitting Area – Before and After

March 9, 2015

We wanted to cozy up the space for two so the clients could enjoy a cup of coffee, read the newspaper, have a conversation and watch the gray heron land at the water’s edge.

The seating arrangement was facing into the kitchen peninsula and not capturing the scenic view looking out onto a lovely pond and beautiful, private backyard.  We wanted to cozy up the space for two so the clients could enjoy a cup of coffee, read the newspaper, have a conversation and watch the gray heron land at the water’s edge.

Two upholstered chairs facing the pond, a fun pear green pouf to relax your feet on, a painted box on stand end table to house a book and binoculars, a floor lamp for reading and a wool zebra area rug – over and out!  Cozy, relaxing, never-want-to-leave space!  At peace with nature!
